Conflict, Forgiveness, and Healing – A Path to Oneness
Corrymeela Community Ballycastle
Northern Ireland
May 26-31, 2026
Conflict and division between individuals, groups and societies are prevalent in our world today.
Questions arise:
Is conflict inevitable?
Are there ways to face differences without conflict?
Is it possible to forgive?
Is harmony possible?
The Beads on One String Foundation believes that the answers are to be found deep within individual wisdom, in inspiration from spiritual resources, and from exchanges with others engaged in these challenging and meaningful conversations.
We invite you to explore these questions with our group of 20 individuals in Northern Ireland at the Corrymeela Community, a community on the stunning coast of Northern Ireland, May 26-31, 2026.
For over 50 years Corrymeela has brought people together and provided a safe place for difficult conversations. The Community has built a network of relationships based on trust and reconciliation and has played a part in accelerating the peace process in Northern Ireland as well as throughout
the world. (https://www.corrymeela.org/)
During our time at Corrymeela we will explore our theme from historical and personal perspectives, accompanied by a member of the Community, Sean O’Baoill. Sean is a Mediator, Peacebuilder and Trainer in the field of Community Relations and has worked with individuals and groups in Northern Ireland for 30 years. He is also a poet, musician, actor and storyteller. With humor, generosity, and wisdom Sean will guide us as we dive deeply into the personal, spiritual and cultural aspects of conflict, forgiveness and healing, finding our individual path to Oneness.
We will do this work in meeting rooms at Corrymeela, in the landscape of the spectacular Northern Ireland coast (causewaycoastandglens.com), and through pilgrimage to Downpatrick and the tombs of the three saints of Ireland – St. Patrick, St. Brigid, and St Columba. If time allows we will also intend to visit the Balllynoe Megalithic Stone Circle . An evening of traditional music at a local pub is also planned.
The cost of the event is $760/£565/EUR652. To register please complete the form below. Paypal payments must be made in dollars but Paypal will convert your payment into the equivalent amount in your own currency, i.e. pounds or euros.
